What you see

Every maker we work with has a public card. The green status and the badge appear only while the product is cleared.

  • ClearedEvery check for the level shown is current. The badge is shown and the product can be sold in the countries listed.
  • Under reviewA change is being checked: a new release, a new document or a rule change. The status and badge stay while the review runs, up to 30 days.
  • ListedThe maker's card is public, with its products, links and documents, but no current status and no badge.

Three levels

Each level adds to the one before. Checked every month; a lapsed requirement gets 30 days to fix before the level drops.

How a product gets cleared

  1. Register

The maker registers the product and its models online.

  2. Upload

Certificates, data map, release process, test reports, labels and notices.

  3. We check

Against each country's rules and buyers' IT questions, with accredited labs where testing is needed.

  4. Cleared and watched

The status goes live, rules are watched every day, and the maker gets an alert the moment anything changes.
