Wind and solar sites cut off
Attackers damaged controller firmware and wiped operator screens at more than 30 wind and solar sites in Poland. Some sites lost their link to the grid operator.
Why it matters for makers
Connected controllers are now targets in their own right. Grid operators and buyers ask for firmware integrity checks, access logs and a tested way to restore a site.
